I wish Fyfe Dangerfield would be strictly acoustic. If you listen to the beginning of this, it is of no comparison to the rest. When I started listening to this, I completely stopped what I was doing and replayed the beginning about fifteen times. The melody is way too good and his voice is flawless. I think The Guillemots often overdo it (instrumentally). The raw beauty of Fyfe Dangerfield’s voice shouldn’t be overpowered by numerous instruments… instead of enhancing, I think it distracts.
